This version of FISLink is NOT approved for the transmission of full PAN (Primary Account Number) data. Clients can work with their FISLink contact at FIS for an alternative file transfer solution.
The infrastructure for FISLink is in the USA.
This system is not to be used to send files that would contradict any local data protection laws and FIS privacy guidelines. It is your personal responsibility as user of the system to ensure compliance and sufficient authorization.
This means, in particular:
a) You may not transfer personal data (whether it is encrypted or not) outside of Europe (e.g. to the FISLink infrastructure located in the US, including FIS entities located there) without first:
- seeking the client's permission to do so; and
- informing the client that FIS has executed an intra-group transfer agreement which contains the controller-to-processor Standard Contractual Clauses, and which legally enables that transfer.
b) Please contact your local Privacy or Security officer if you are unsure about this.
